What are the Continuing Education Credits/Units (CECs/CEUs) Totals for 1, 2, 3-Day Attendance?
SCW Conventions offer continuing education credits based on the number of days attended:
- 1-Day Attendance – Earn up to 7 CECs/CEUs
- 2-Day Attendance – Earn up to 14 CECs/CEUs
- 3-Day Attendance (Full Convention) – Earn up to 20 CECs/CEUs

How do I receive my Continuing Education Credits/Units (CECs/CEUs)?
CEC/CEU forms will be provided electronically after the event. Upon the close of the event (live or virtual), you will be asked to complete an event survey. After you complete the survey, you will be taken to a page to download the CEC/CEU Form. The form will be signed and you will have to tally the totals for your CECs/CEUs on the third page of the form. The CECs/CEUs expire after two years from the date of the conference. Recorded sessions also offer CECs. Please make sure to retain an electronic copy for your records, since there is a $35.00 replacement fee for any misplaced forms.
How long will I have to obtain my Continuing Education Credits/Units (CECs/CEUs)?
You will have 30 days after the conference to obtain your CEC Form. After you complete a convention survey, you will receive the CEC Form that you can download, print, and save. You will also receive a reminder email and text message with a link to access the CEC Form after the conference.
Should I save my CEC/CEU Form, and what happens if I lose my CEC/CEU Form?
You should save your CEC Form and there is a $35 replacement fee if you lose your CEC Form. You will be able to obtain a replacement CEC Form for $35 by clicking on the following link: www.scwfit.com/cec-form
How many Continuing Education Credits/Units (CECs/CEUs) do I receive for each individual workshop/lecture?
Generally, each certifying body will award one CEC/CEU per hour during each workshop. Each class is 1.25 hours and therefore, you will receive 1.25 units. Some certifying bodies give more or less than the 1.25 units, depending on factors such as lecture vs. workout and land vs. aqua. This includes both LIVE and RECORDED sessions.

Don’t let a scheduling conflict mean missing out! The Recordings Add-On gives you access to every session — whether you want to rewatch a favorite from the live event or catch one you weren’t able to attend. Recordings are a great way to stay informed, reinforce your learning, and get the most out of your education experience.
Recordings are provided for educational purposes. Recording Add-On purchasers can earn a maximum of 20 CECs through the following organizations:
- SCW – SCW Fitness Education – 20 CECs
- ACSM – American College of Sports Medicine – 20 CECs

ACE, AEA, AFAA, and NASM credits require live session attendance and are not available for recordings.
Recordings may be purchased up to one year following the event. Once purchased, you will have 60 days of access to view the recordings. Credit submissions must be completed within that same 60-day access window.
